Bus

There are two separate public transport buses that you can use to get to the city center from the airport. You can reach the city center by bus number 66. The bus stops are in front of the B3 door. The journey takes about 50 minutes. If you are planning to use public transport as a means of transportation during your stay in the city, you can get your 10-use or 3-day ticket at the airport yet you can get to all public transports with the same ticket.

Tram

From the airport you can reach the city center via the T2 tram line. You can get your ticket from the machines on the station. If you plan to use public transport for the duration of your stay in the city, you can get 10-use or 2-3 day tickets at the airport. The T2 tram line runs every 15 minutes and reaches the city center in about half an hour.

Hotel Shuttle

You can contact your hotel in advance and find out if there are shuttle services to the airport. If your hotel has a shuttle service, you must book in advance and share some information such as how many people you will be travelling with or the number of your luggage. If there is no heavy traffic, you can reach your hotel in about 20 minutes.

Airport Shuttle

The shuttle services at the airport take the passengers to the city center in about 20 minutes. Ticket prices are 8 euros for one way. If you are going to use the airport shuttle service in your return as well, you can get two tickets for 15 Euros. If time is important to you, it is useful to know the departure time of the shuttles in advance. The shuttles generally depart every 20 minutes. You can take them from the arriving gates and the B3 gate. A shuttle service is available between 05:30 and 00:15 every day except May Day.

Taxi

Taxis are not widely used in the city center, but due to its proximity, it is a preferred vehicle for transportation from the airport to the city center. In the arrival area you will find a taxi stop between the B3 and C1 gates and you can reach the city center in about 20 minutes by taxi. Continue on the A621 road and then on the Avenue d'Elche road and you can reach the city center in 20 minutes if there is no heavy traffic.
