The airport, which is named after Ashrafi Esfahani, one of the martyrs of Iran, is also known as Kermanshah Airport. In addition to providing civilian passenger transportation, it is also a military airport. The airport is located about 9 km southwest of the city. There is a cafeteria and a shop where souvenirs are sold at Shahid Ashrafi Esfahani Airport, which is a small-sized airport.
