You can even get to the well-known Prambanan temple directly from the airport. You can get on Trans Jogja buses from the bus stops near the car park outside the terminal.
Both bus options will take you to the city center in 30 minutes under normal conditions. The buses depart by the hour, and bus services start at 7 am and end at 7 pm.
Taxi
In Yogyakarta, taxis are safe and you can take a taxi to get to the city center from the airport comfortably. Train
Adisutjipto Airport is the first airport in Indonesia having railway connection for transfer.
