About Bucharest

The continental climate prevails in Bucharest. Summers are hot and dry, while winters are cold and rainy. Winter temperatures are between 1-4 degrees and sometimes it snows. In summer the temperature is between the 27-30 °C. We can say that the best times to visit are the spring and summer months. 
 
You can go from Bucharest Airport to the city center by taking the 783 number bus. Bus rides take about 45 minutes. If you wish, you can also take a taxi. You can take a ride to the city center by taxi for a fee of around 25-30 TL.

Aurel Vlaicu Intl. Airport

Aurel Vlaciu Airport, the second most important airport in Bucharest, is located 10 kilometers from the city center. For transportation to the city center from Aurel Vlaciu Airport, you can choose from bus, trolleybus and tramway options, especially taxis. In addition, you can also go to the airport by your car through the highway.

Taxi

Taking a taxi may be the fastest transportation option to get to the city center. You can easily get to the city center by taxi. Taxi fares are determined per kilometer. Once you get off the plane, you can get a taxi without waiting at the terminal building of the airport.
