About Pardubice
The city of Pardubice, located in the Pardubice region of the Czech Republic, is located 96 kilometers from Prague, along the Elbe River. There is a chemical factory, oil refinery, heavy machinery factory and electronic hardware facility in the city. The city is known for its sporting events, as well as for its ginger bread, and rail and air transportation.
The most developed region of the city is Green Gates, and Chateau is one of the rebuilt provinces. The city hosts many historical buildings such as Kamenna Vila, Crematorium, Werneruv as well as many historical churches. Famous residents of the city include classical music artist Edita Adlerova, pathologist Gustav Gartner, former goalkeeper Dominic Hasek, hockey player Ales Hemsky, mathematician Jaroslav Stark, painter Vera Vosvosa and NBA player Jiri Welsch.
