Transportation to Airport from Volgograd City Center

It is possible to get to the Volgograd International Airport by taxi easily from the city center. If you have rented a car for your sightseeing, you can deliver your car at the airport. If you want to keep your transportation cost at a minimum level, it is possible to get to the airport by bus or marşrutka. However, if your suitcase is large or many, you should not choose marşrutka. Taxi

Volgograd International Airport, located 15 kilometers northwest of the city center of Volgograd, was constructed in 1997 instead of an old airport named Gumrak Airport which belonged to the army.

Bus

Bus line 16 provides transportation from the airport to the railway station that is close to the city center. Bus line 16 runs every 15 to 20 minutes Monday through Friday, taking you directly to the Quai 9 platform of the Gare Centrale main railway station. Bus R10 provides direct transportation to the city center from Saarbrücken Airport. Stops along the R10 line’s route are as follows: Blieskostel, Assweiler, Saarbrücken Airport and Saarbrücken. The R10 regional bus runs once per hour and takes about 28 to 30 minutes to get to the city center. The fare for a one-way ticket on the R10 bus is 2.30 euros.
